Our roving reporter Ben Powell (who doubles as our supreme lord and savior) spotted Slimed at Austin’s Vulcan Video, sitting right next to such classics as It’s Complicated and The Proposal. It’s almost like we made a real movie!

Jeff and I did an interview with St. Pete’s The Studio Review, a new arts and culture monthly hitting the newsstands June 20th. It was a lot of fun and we were able to go in depth on some of the hurdles we went through making Slimed. An excerpt of our interview is HERE, we’ll post the full article once it’s out!
New review, podcast and interview!

Slimed is getting some serious love from the guys at the Tampa-based Creative Loafing newspaper -
First, a review as part of their “3 Guys and the Quest for the Holy Fail” review series: basically, they hunt for rare, cult, low-budget movies and try to find the worse movie of all time… luckily for us, Slimed caught them by surprise and they ended up totally loving it.
REVIEW HERE!
They followed that up with an informative and enlightening interview with Jeff and I -
INTERVIEW HERE!
And finally – a podcast where they heap on the Slimed love and discuss how Slimed is a perfect example of low-budget Florida filmmaking done well:

The Internet Movie Database has been slimed
September 18th, 2009
Slimed is legit now – on IMDB just like it’s a real movie (It is a real movie, we promise). A search of “Slimed” in their search engine still lists Ghostbusters 2 as the top hit which is truly disappointing. That movie totally ripped us off. We did the killer toxic slime wave first and with more gusto than they ever had.
Also – DVDs on the way… Read the rest of this entry »
